Calgary Ringette Teams Sweep Provincial Medals

Calgary's ringette community celebrated a banner weekend at the Alberta Provincial Championships, with three city teams medaling across different age divisions.

The Calgary Wildfire captured U16 gold with a 5-4 overtime thriller, while the Calgary Ice U14 team took silver and the U12 Calgary Storm earned bronze.

"Ringette doesn't always get the spotlight, but these athletes train just as hard as any hockey player," said Alberta Ringette Association president Karen Mills. "Community advertising support helps us grow the sport and keep it affordable."
