Edson Community Sports Day Draws Record Turnout

Edson's annual Community Sports Day at Kinsmen Park drew a record turnout this year, with more than 400 kids participating in free introductory clinics across soccer, baseball, and cross-country running.

The event was funded through Prairie Mountain News advertising revenue, with all equipment provided at no cost to participating families.

"Edson families love sports, and events like this make sure every kid gets a chance to try something new," said recreation coordinator Amanda Lee.
