Medicine Hat Hosts Annual Youth Soccer Showcase

Medicine Hat's Echo Dale Park will host the annual Youth Soccer Showcase this Labour Day weekend, drawing more than 40 teams from communities across South Alberta.

The tournament, partially funded through Prairie Mountain News advertising revenue, offers divisions for U8 through U18 players. Registration fees were kept to a minimum thanks to local business sponsors.

"Tournaments like this are where kids fall in love with the sport," said organizer Carla Mendez. "We're grateful to our community partners who make it affordable for every family."
